Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Windshield
A plane transporting Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was found in the plane's windshield, per an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.
"The jet landed in accordance with standard protocol and all passengers, such as Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer commented in a public statement.
Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the city of Brussels at the time.
This occurrence isn't the first time that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has experienced mechanical issues.
Months ago, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to return to Washington DC after encountering a technical issue.
